Depuis le 10 ao\u00fbt 2026, les \u00e9quipes de contr\u00f4le de l\u2019Office Togolais des Recettes (OTR<\/a>) sont d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es simultan\u00e9ment sur l\u2019ensemble du pays pour v\u00e9rifier le paiement de la Taxe Professionnelle Unique (TPU<\/a>) au titre du deuxi\u00e8me trimestre 2026.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Une information officialis\u00e9e par un communiqu\u00e9 du 6 ao\u00fbt, sign\u00e9 par la Commissaire G\u00e9n\u00e9rale, Yawa Chantal Ts\u00e8gan, et adress\u00e9e \u00e0 tous les transporteurs routiers concern\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette op\u00e9ration d\u2019envergure nationale, qui couvre routes nationales, axes secondaires et zones urbaines, marque le d\u00e9but des contr\u00f4les de terrain pr\u00e9vus par la loi. Conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 l\u2019article 57 du Livre des Proc\u00e9dures Fiscales, la p\u00e9riode de perception est d\u00e9sormais accompagn\u00e9e d\u2019une v\u00e9rification syst\u00e9matique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019objectif affich\u00e9 : s\u2019assurer que chaque acteur du transport routier s\u2019est acquitt\u00e9 de ses obligations dans les d\u00e9lais l\u00e9gaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour l\u2019OTR, ce d\u00e9ploiement massif r\u00e9pond \u00e0 un double enjeu : garantir l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 entre les professionnels et s\u00e9curiser les recettes fiscales de l\u2019\u00c9tat. Il s\u2019agit aussi d\u2019\u00e9pargner aux transporteurs en r\u00e8gle les d\u00e9sagr\u00e9ments d\u2019interpellations sur les axes routiers. En revanche, tout retard ou d\u00e9faut de paiement pourra entra\u00eener des p\u00e9nalit\u00e9s, voire l\u2019immobilisation du v\u00e9hicule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Face \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence accrue des agents sur le terrain, la Commissaire G\u00e9n\u00e9rale en appelle au civisme et \u00e0 la collaboration de tous. Propri\u00e9taires et conducteurs sont vivement invit\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9gulariser leur situation sans attendre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
