C’est d\u00e9sormais officiel. Apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es d’attente et de rumeurs, Zin\u00e9dine Zidane est le nouveau s\u00e9lectionneur de l’\u00e9quipe de France<\/a>. La FFF<\/a> a act\u00e9 mardi la nomination de l’ic\u00f4ne du football tricolore, qui succ\u00e8de \u00e0 Didier Deschamps pour un mandat de quatre ans, jusqu’\u00e0 la Coupe du monde 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 54 ans, le champion du monde 1998 r\u00e9alise ce qu’il pr\u00e9sente comme l’ambition ultime de sa carri\u00e8re d’entra\u00eeneur. Sans club depuis son d\u00e9part du Real Madrid en 2021, Zidane a attendu, refusant toutes les sollicitations venues d’Europe et d’ailleurs pour rester disponible pour les Bleus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab C’\u00e9tait un r\u00eave. Toutes les propositions que j’ai re\u00e7ues ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, je les ai refus\u00e9es. Apr\u00e8s le Real Madrid, je voulais uniquement entra\u00eener l’\u00e9quipe de France \u00bb, a-t-il confi\u00e9, visiblement \u00e9mu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle constitue la suite logique d’un parcours entam\u00e9 il y a pr\u00e8s de quarante ans, des \u00e9quipes de jeunes jusqu’\u00e0 la s\u00e9lection A. Celui qui a port\u00e9 le maillot tricolore \u00e0 108 reprises estime retrouver une maison qu’il n’a jamais vraiment quitt\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab J’ai grandi avec cette \u00e9quipe. J’y ai franchi toutes les \u00e9tapes. Aujourd’hui, je vais tout donner pour qu’elle continue de gagner \u00bb, a-t-il affirm\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un message fort contre le racisme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au-del\u00e0 du terrain, le nouveau patron des Bleus a tenu \u00e0 rappeler les valeurs qu’il entend d\u00e9fendre. \u00ab J’ai grandi dans un environnement o\u00f9 chacun avait sa place. Nous sommes tous des \u00eatres humains. Le football doit continuer \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre cette id\u00e9e et lutter contre toutes les formes de discrimination \u00bb, a-t-il martel\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zidane, qui n’a cess\u00e9 d’observer l’\u00e9quipe de France durant ses ann\u00e9es loin des bancs, estime que le potentiel est immense. \u00ab J’ai suivi \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de rencontres. Je vois un groupe avec un immense potentiel \u00bb, a-t-il soulign\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objectif 2030<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Triple vainqueur cons\u00e9cutif de la Ligue des champions avec le Real Madrid, Zin\u00e9dine Zidane se lance d\u00e9sormais dans le d\u00e9fi le plus attendu de sa carri\u00e8re d’entra\u00eeneur : guider les Bleus vers de nouveaux sommets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
