Le quartier Ago\u00e8-Cacav\u00e9li \u00e0 Lom\u00e9 a vibr\u00e9 au rythme des ar\u00f4mes du caf\u00e9 fra\u00eechement torr\u00e9fi\u00e9. Ce mardi, le Comit\u00e9 de Coordination pour les Fili\u00e8res Caf\u00e9 et Cacao (CCFCC), en collaboration avec l\u2019Organisation Interafricaine du Caf\u00e9 (OIAC-UA), a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019inauguration officielle de la \u00ab Maison du caf\u00e9, Le Terroir \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La coupure du ruban a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9e par le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du minist\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00c9conomie et de la Veille Strat\u00e9gique, Comlan Yakpey et le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du CCFCC, Anselme Gouthon, en pr\u00e9sence du secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019OIAC-UA, Solomon Rutega, des directeurs centraux, d\u2019autorit\u00e9s administratives et traditionnelles, et des m\u00e9dias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un espace d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la transformation et \u00e0 la consommation locale<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inscrit dans l\u2019axe 2 des Plans de d\u00e9veloppement des fili\u00e8res caf\u00e9 et cacao (PDCC) \u2013 \u00ab D\u00e9veloppement de la transformation et promotion de la consommation locale \u00bb \u2013 ce nouveau lieu se veut bien plus qu\u2019un simple point de vente. V\u00e9ritable vitrine des produits caf\u00e9 transform\u00e9s au Togo, la maison combine plusieurs fonctions: un espace d\u2019exposition-vente pour les produits locaux, un lieu de d\u00e9gustation de caf\u00e9 de qualit\u00e9, pr\u00e9par\u00e9 sur place par des professionnels, et un centre de renforcement des capacit\u00e9s d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux jeunes acteurs des m\u00e9tiers du caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab La Maison du caf\u00e9, Le Terroir, c\u2019est avant tout un outil de structuration de la fili\u00e8re \u00bb, a rappel\u00e9 Enselme Gouthon, Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du CCFCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une dynamique d\u00e9j\u00e0 engag\u00e9e avec les kiosques KAWA TOGO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette inauguration s\u2019inscrit dans la continuit\u00e9 des actions men\u00e9es depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es par le CCFCC. L\u2019institution a d\u00e9j\u00e0 install\u00e9 quatre kiosques \u00e0 caf\u00e9 \u00e0 Lom\u00e9 et un \u00e0 Kara, g\u00e9r\u00e9s par une coop\u00e9rative de jeunes baristas d\u00e9nomm\u00e9e KAWA TOGO. Ces m\u00eames jeunes ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9s \u00e0 servir le caf\u00e9 lors de grands rassemblements (foires, f\u00eates traditionnelles), contribuant ainsi \u00e0 populariser la consommation locale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avec cette nouvelle infrastructure, le CCFCC franchit une \u00e9tape suppl\u00e9mentaire. D\u00e8s l\u2019ouverture de la Maison, une formation sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e sera dispens\u00e9e \u00e0 80 jeunes tenanciers de bars \u00e0 caf\u00e9 venus de Lom\u00e9, Kpalim\u00e9 et Kara. Ces futurs professionnels repartiront enti\u00e8rement \u00e9quip\u00e9s pour servir le caf\u00e9 togolais dans leurs propres kiosques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un \u00e9cho continental avec l\u2019OIAC-UA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pr\u00e9sent \u00e0 la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie, le Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019OIAC-UA, Solomon Rutega, a salu\u00e9 une initiative qui illustre parfaitement les priorit\u00e9s africaines: promouvoir la transformation locale du caf\u00e9, encourager la consommation intra-africaine et cr\u00e9er des opportunit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques pour la jeunesse et les femmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour le Togo, l\u2019enjeu est clair : faire du caf\u00e9 un produit d\u2019excellence et un moteur de croissance inclusive. En misant sur la qualit\u00e9, la formation et la transformation sur place, le pays entend gagner en reconnaissance sur les march\u00e9s internationaux tout en ancrant une v\u00e9ritable culture du caf\u00e9 local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e8s ce mardi, la \u00ab Maison du caf\u00e9, Le Terroir \u00bb ouvre ses portes au public. Plus qu\u2019une inauguration, c\u2019est une nouvelle \u00e8re pour la fili\u00e8re caf\u00e9 togolaise qui commence \u00e0 Ago\u00e8-Cacav\u00e9li.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
